Job description
Reporting to: Build & Fit Lead/Manufacturing Supervisor.
Key contacts: This position interacts with internal and external contacts, including customers and possibly, suppliers.
The role will be responsible for following instructions as directed and ensuring that all manufactured items are clearly identified.
Role Requirements / Responsibilities:
Preparation of wiring, including use of automated wire cutting and stripping, termination labelling equipment. Product training will be provided.
Production Support Operative
- Preparation of Panels and Cable Containment (Trunking) using automated equipment and associated software.
- Methodical and organised approach to work/tasks
- Following procedures associated with material registration and manufacturing quality standards.
- Able to work as part of a team in order to meet targets and objectives
- Maintain quality control standards of workmanship
- Basic computer literacy with word and excel
